đ What an incredible day it was at the Confidence Camp hosted by the Lemonade Circle! A dynamic group of 15 young women came together for a day that was all about boosting their confidence, learning new skills, and embracing their authentic selves. Our girls gathered at the amazing @sparrowhouseacademy for a day of empowerment. The energy was electric as we delved into a journey of building confidence from the inside out.
The day kicked off with the inspiring Confidence Conversation, led by the Ryn Pitts, our Director of Marketing & Branding and the CEO of @serendipitysocialco. The conversation set the tone for a day of growth and self-affirmation. ïžđ With a focus on boosting self-esteem and the art of the #fakeittillyoumakeit method, Ryn's session was a true game-changer. She shared how changing our self-talk can ripple into powerful shifts in our self-perception.
The learning journey continued with Master Stylist and Multi Textural Hair Artist, Monica Hayes, @kcharlessatx. Monica shared hair care tips, teaching our girls how to rock their natural textures with pride. From unraveling the rich history of Black hair to hands-on demonstrations of the Jumbo Twist hairstyle, Monica imparted not just hair skills, but also a deep sense of cultural pride and self-expression.
Next up was a session with Tarra Hardeman, owner of @carmelsoap. Tarra dove into the world of skin, bath, and body care, revealing the secrets to a radiant glow from head to toe. Tarra gave the girls insight on breakouts, what might be causing them and how to clear them, some cleanliness tips that can benefit your skin (like changing your pillow case every 3-4 days!), and finished her presentation with product education. Our girls left with a newfound appreciation for self-care and the importance of treating themselves with love and kindness. đââïžđ
As the day continued, local Stylist and fashion guru Diamond Ariel, @queen_ofdiamonds, took the stage to share her insights into personal style. From finding your signature look to embracing the power of self-expression through fashion, she left our girls inspired to slay in their own unique ways. The girls were buzzing with excitement as Diamond guided them through ways to express themselves confidently through fashion, leaving no doubt that style is an incredible form of self-expression. đđ âš
As the sessions unfolded, Confidence Camp became more than just an eventâit was a celebration of authenticity, self-love, and personal growth. Our girls not only learned new skills but also discovered the magic of embracing who they truly are. The energy, enthusiasm, and sisterhood that filled the air were nothing short of electric.
