On a beautiful Saturday, March 25, The Lemonade Circle embarked on a special journey of growth and collaboration as we celebrated our Lemon Tree Garden Day with Gardopia at the Young Women's Leadership Academy Primary in San Antonio ISD. š«¶š¾ Our hearts were filled with excitement as we welcomed our new community partner, the Women of Honor Organization at UTSA - The University of Texas at San Antonio, during this remarkable #communityservice event.
š± Growing Together:
The Lemonade Circle believes in the power of working together and nurturing the potential within our girls. Gardopia Gardens, led by the incredible Stephen Lucke, CEO and founder, and Dominic Dominguez, COO, graciously hosted us for a day of gardening, fellowship, and transformation. We were truly inspired by the impactful work of Gardopia Gardens and their commitment to fostering a green and sustainable future in San Antonio.
šŖ“ Planting Seeds of Impact:
As we got our hands in the soil, planting lemon trees and tending to the garden, we also sowed the seeds of empowerment and camaraderie. The Lemonade Circle girls, volunteers, and parents came together with passion and determination, proving that when we collaborate, we can create something truly beautiful.
š Nurturing Our Lemonade Dreams:
With every tree we planted, we envisioned the sweet fruits of our labor ā refreshing and delicious lemonade made from our very own lemons. We're eagerly looking forward to seeing our lemon trees blossom and grow, providing us with the opportunity to share our homemade lemonade with everyone in the coming months. š
šæ Cultivating Growth, One Day at a Time:
The Lemonade Circle is all about fostering growth and nurturing dreams. Our Lemon Tree Garden Day was a testament to the power of collective action and the impact we can make when we come together. šŖ“š
Special thanks to our dedicated volunteer coordinator, Marci Jordan, and all the amazing volunteers and parents who joined us for this heartwarming event. We are immensely grateful to Phylicia Felton, our Mental Health Coordinator, for providing the girls with Krispy Kreme Donuts, adding a dash of sweetness to our day.
And last but not least, we extend a heartfelt thank you to our very own Lemonade Circle member, Sam Brooks, for generously providing baked goods for all the girls and volunteers after the event. Your thoughtfulness and support mean the world to us! šš
At The Lemonade Circle, this is how we COLLABORATE! š¤ This is how we GROW! š± And this is how we #makeLEMONADE! šš«
